Tacos & Tattoos is a family owned restaurant that bloomed in 2016. It is a Mexican restaurant with a Caribbean twist. They serve burritos, tortillas, tacos, and more. They are also into art. So their locations have art all over the interior from the front of the house to the bathrooms. They wanted to do a combination of food and art. One would think that they have tattoo services, but they don’t. The concept of the restaurant name came to owner Jonathan Cruz when they owned their taco truck. They worked next to a tattoo shop, so you’d be able to eat tacos and then get your tattoo. They kept that name since it is eye-catching and attracts people. They have grown so much since 2016. They started off with their first location in West Kendall and then opened in Bird Road and University of Miami. They also hold events outside the restaurant like car meets. They have amazing reviews on Yelp making them a 4 out of 5 star restaurant.

I had the opportunity to finally try this amazing restaurant after having it bookmarked for years. I went to the first location created.
For starters when you walk in the ambience is super chill. They have art on all walls which is aesthetically pleasing. They had good music playing as well. Only thing is the location was pretty small for all the people inside, but the food, service, and ambience made up for it. I would rate the ambiance a 8/10.
