Miami Bites: Shoma Bazaar

This week we had the opportunity to try the newest food hall in Doral: Shoma Bazaar. They have all type of food from American, Middle Eastern, Peruvian, Asian, and more. They also have drink areas nonalcoholic and alcoholic. And to end off, they have a couple desserts spots. We all tried different places and enjoyed our food. The ambience of the place is aesthetically pleasing and it’s a huge location. Usually, food halls the price of the food is slightly elevated compared to outside restaurants, but it also had to do with the location, Doral.

To start off we had a couple drinks from The Bar. We got 4 different drinks that had tequila or vodka. They were in the range of $13-$16. The taste was perfect with the right amount of alcohol. The presentation was even better.

For entrees, we had a variety of things. We got a pepperoni pizza from Ash Pizza. It had a bunch of pepperonis and was a thin pizza. It had a great taste throughout all pizza. Then we had an arepa from Doggi’s Arepa Bar. It had pulled meat with beans, cheese, and a garlic sauce. Then we had two dishes from Shahs of Kabob. One meal was Falafel which was on top of a bed of salad and came with a sauce. We also got Joojeh plate, which is a marinated chicken skewer with rice, salad, and bread. And the last thing we ordered were from BFF Burgers. Both were cheeseburgers. Overall, we all loved our meals and plan on going back.

Of course we had to finish off with dessert. We went to Manifesto where they had a variety of desserts. They are popular for their cake slices being huge. One slice was $17. We got one of the most popular ones which was the Godfather. It is a 6-layer chocolate cake that has Nutella, chocolate ganache, hot cocoa pudding, and double chocolate chip dough. The cake had the perfect amount of chocolate, not as overwhelming as it sounds. It was delicious and we all enjoyed a bite from it and even took some home.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience with the food and the ambience. It is a great place to come with friends and family and depending on the days they have different events. If you want to find out more information you can visit them on their social media/website. They do delivery, dine in, and take out.
