Game preview: Super Bowl 56
The Cincinnati Bengals will take on the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday , February 13th at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles for superbowl 56. Both teams have had a great season with the Rams finishing the season 12 wins and 5 loses.The Bengals ended the season with 10 wins and 7 loses.
The Bengals starting quarterback Joe Burrow has been doing phenomenal this year after having a good comeback season from his knee injury in his rookie season. Burrow ended the regular season with 4,611 passing yards , 34 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Burrow's comeback season has been really great with him leading the bengals to super bowl 56.
Another key player for the Bengals is starting receiver Ja’marr Chase. This is Chase's first year in the NFL; he came from Louisiana State University. Chase went fifth overall in the 2021 NFL draft. Ja’marr Chase has been such a great player this season by making clutch catches and plays so he and his team could win. Chase ended the regular season with 81 receptions , 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns. His stats are impressive for him being a rookie. Make sure you look out for him while watching the superbowl
The Los Angeles Rams have had a very good season too. Rams starting quarterback Matthew Stafford has been so consistent throughout the whole season throwing perfect passes and making game winning plays. Stafford ended the regular season with 4,886 passing yards , 41 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. Stafford will definitely make some game changing plays in the superbowl.
The Rams defense have been playing shutout defense. A key player is Aaron Donald, a physical defensive lineman. Donald ended the regular season with 38 tackles , 12 sacks and four forced fumbles. Donald will be an important player to watch during the superbowl.
