A Night of Self-Care

It’s easy to get caught up in the concept of whether or not you have a valentine this Friday. The important thing to remember on this holiday is spreading love, even if you’re on your own this year. We often overlook ourselves but this can be a great opportunity to really pamper yourself the way you deserve.


Here are some ways to make you feel special on the holiday of love!


1. Music

A way to really set the mood for the night is by playing your favorite album in the background. Whether it be an old record or the latest tunes, it will be the soundtrack to your night!


2. FOOD!

Make your favorite meal! Or order some take out! Whatever makes your mouth water. Have it tonight. You deserve it!


3. Run a bath


Now is finally the time to bust out those bath bombs you forgot you bought that one time. Light some candles and really take this time to reflect on how things are going and how you want them to go in the future. This is your time!


4. Pamper yourself


Put on a face mask! Paint your nails! Put on a little more of that crazy expensive lotion you save for special occasions! Take your time on each step. Show yourself you care.


5. Put on a movie

You’re full, freshly manicured, and extremely moisturized. After all of those treats, this is a great one to end the night. Cuddle up in your mountain of pillows and plush blankets and fall asleep to your favorite movie. It’s okay, you can recite it in your sleep anyway.
