Uncharted: Movie Review

The Uncharted movie is based on the video game series that was first released in 2007 and the latest release was January 28,2022. Uncharted is an action adventure game published by sony interactive entertainment. The game follows a group of treasure hunters who travel around the world to solve historical mysteries. This series features a fictional character Nathan Drake and also there are other fictional characters who follow him.

Uncharted movie released February 18, 2020 Starring Tom Holland and Mark Waulburg. Just like that game, the movie is about Nathan Drake , played by Tom Holland who goes on this mission with Sully , played by Mark Waulburg. They both go on a journey to find a 500 - year old lost fortune. While on this journey they came across Chloe Frazer which is played by Sophia Ali. Frazer is a skilled professional whose reputation often makes her highly demanded in the criminal underworld. Frazer played along and helped Nathan and Sully find the treasure then traded on them. At the end Nathan succeeded and found the treasure through all that he had been through on the journey.

The Uncharted movie received a lot of criticism for the screenplay and casting of the movie. In the end In the United States it grossed $125.9 million and in Canada it grossed $211.4 million so in total Uncharted grossed $337 million worldwide making it the fourth highest - grossing film of 2022. This is pretty good for a movie that has been criticized and had a lot of backlash.

The World’s First Interactive Robot Bartender: At FIU

Her name is Cecilia and she is the world’s first interactive A.I. mixologist – or robot bartender, if you will – and she is currently working her magic at Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management in North Miami.

Her job at FIU is to teach hospitality students at FIU’s Bacardi Center of Excellence about technology and innovation in their chosen field, and ultimately, to help businesses sell more drinks.

She will come of assistance to site-specific locations, such as sports stadiums, cruise ships or even airport bars. Any places that have long, slow lines when it comes to ordering a drink. At 120 drinks per hour, Cecilia uses AI and voice recognition abilities to deliver delicious, crafted cocktails and even tell jokes.

Cecilia will make her first public debut under the big tents February 26th and 27th and the South Beach Wine & Food Festival on Miami Beach hosted by FIU’s very own Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management.

Miami Liberty City Riot (1980)

The Miami riot was the first riot ever since the late 1960s. It all started In December of 1979 there was a plethora of Miami Dade police on a high speed chase with an African American motorist. The reports stated that the chase ended with the motorist crashing his motorcycle. But it turns out there was another police report stating that the cops beat him to death.In may of1980 the cops went to trial and all of the cops were found not guilty.

The word got out in the neighborhood that the cops were found not guilty and by night on May 17th the whole liberty city neighborhood took it to the streets.There was a full blown riot and it also moved to the headquarters of the Dade County Department of Public Safety. The protesters started throwing objects at anybody who rode by.The riot was so intense they had to call the Florida National Guard to calm things down. The National Guard blocked off the whole liberty city neighborhood. More than 800 people Had been arrested during the riot and the property damage from the riot was $80 million dollars.

Some have agreed that the riot was an example of the younger civil rights & black power movement. African American Activist Jesse Jackson came in and smooth things out in Miami. This riot was the most intense riot to ever happen in Miami. It definitely would go in the history books.
