Ariel Auerbach is a senior who is graduating from Florida International University with a degree in Digital Communications and Media and a minor in E-Marketing and Social Media. Although she was born and raised in Miami, Florida, she makes fun of the fact that she does not speak one word of Spanish. Ariel’s hobbies include dancing, finding good restaurants, watching movies and taking her beagle, Lola, to the dog park. Reliable and hardworking, Ariel aspires to work as a digital media coordinator for a non-profit organization once she graduates.

Isabella Costa is a graduating student from Florida International University with a degree in Digital Communication and Media. She was born in Hollywood, Florida, but later relocated to Pembroke Pines, Florida. Her parents immigrated to Florida from Brazil before she was born. Her hobbies include listening to music, going to concerts, and performing. Once she graduates she hopes to move to New York City and get a job in the entertainment industry. Her ultimate goal is to work on a late-night show like The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. 

Andrea D’Amado is one of the executive Producers of Heat’d. She makes sure every member of the crew is working hard to achieve professional results. Stories are approved and evaluated by her before being produced and posted. Andrea is a responsible hard working 22-year old who leads everyone to give their best. She is kind and generous but determined to get things done. Besides from producing Heat’d, Andrea works on her family business and has also her own business designing and selling shoes. Her persistent personality has allowed her to fulfill various goals with her young age.

Hermes Estevez is a senior Broadcasting student currently enrolled at Florida International University. Native to South Florida and raised at the edge of the muggiest swamp, he’s grown to love all the parts of this city. His family taught him the customs and traditions of their nation while living in another. He hopes to employ his diversified perspective in all of his work, making art and films for all walks of life. Hermes is also the dad to an absolutely perfect angel named Podrick, a Border Collie mix that he picked up from the pound this year. Adopt, don’t shop!

Jessica Gomez is a Broadcast Journalism major at FIU. Born and raised in Miami from a Hispanic household she is fully bilingual. Lover of traveling and exploring new places her goal is to one day work at a job that would allow her to travel the world. She can quote the show F.R.I.E.N.D.S. and during her free time she loves to watch a good movie or binge superhero shows on Netflix. She describes herself as a child at heart and loves everything Disney. Her favorite quote is “if you can dream it, you can do it’” by Walt Disney.

Adrian is a Miami native, and the first-generation American in his family.
Born and raised in Miami, Adrian has lived in the city for a majority of
his life. He is currently an undergraduate student at Florida International
University studying Digital Media. After graduation, he aspires to work in
media within E-sports, Pro sports, or Digital News and Entertainment.
Adrian has a twin sister named Adriana, and a dog named Pookie. On his
spare time he is all about having fun with friends and family. His ideal
kind of hangout consists of fishing, chilling poolside, or sunbathing on
Miami Beach.

Gabriella Pinos is a senior at Florida International University majoring in Broadcast Media with a minor in Business Communication and Social Media and E-Marketing. She is currently the opinion director for PantherNOW, FIU's student-led newspaper, where she manages a group of, of course, very opinionated writers. She has previously interned at WPBT South Florida PBS and the FIU Healthy Living Program. She has a passion for storytelling, videography and writing, and she plans to continue telling stories as a multimedia journalist after she graduates. She currently lives in Miami and dreams of forming her own media company in the future.

Jensey Rivera is a Digital Media student at Florida International University with a minor in General Business. She has considerable experience in sales and customer service. Currently works at Bacardi as an Administrative Assistant for the Corporate Administrative Services department and has over 5+ years of experience in an office environment. She was born in New York, raised in Cali-Colombia and has been living in Miami for the last 10 years. Her hobbies include snowboarding, traveling and has the spirit of an entrepreneur. She currently works on the side to help women and men achieve their very best hair life.

Victoria Perez is a Cuban-American national commentator in professional gaming. Since 2015, she has been a broadcaster for many major companies like Nintendo, Blizzard Entertainment, and Amazon Studios. She continues to work and commentate professional Super Smash Bros. tournaments while balancing life as a Florida International University student who is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Estefania Rodriguez is a Senior student majoring in Communications and Digital Media Studies, from Caracas Venezuela; who immigrated this country at 19 years old, in December 2008. Back in 2011 started her academic studies, pursued a career in the Communications field. Since her arrival to the states, her number one goal was to be able to do what she loved the most, being able to work with people in the field of TV and Media production, and subsequently spend time learning all the different cultures Miami is known for. As well, she had the chance
of being a creative director and stylist in the fashion field. FIU has definitely complemented all these skills and knowledge with their classes and lessons, and is extremely proud that she is about to graduate and accomplish a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications this Fall 2019.

Felipe is a proud Colombian-American student at FIU. His passion for music is endless. Generally, he doesn't like the typical genres like Salsa or Bachata. It must be creatively challenging as it allows the imagination and to be pushed to its limits, where he carries another passion. The school of psychology has always been fascinating to him. The workings of the mind and its implications: mental illness, the schools within psychology because it leads him to understand the public's tastings. As for the inspiration for his work, he persuades the wealth of museums and the artists; the amount of motivation and spirituality it carries allows him to move forward with his work.

Stephanie Sarria is a digital media content creator and project manager, specializing in graphics and marketing. Originally from Colombia and a previous law student, she’s found her voice in the growing creative sphere in Miami. Her specialty lies in the creation and manufacturing of art goods, such as sculptures, digital prints and original art, all projects she’s curated for private collectors around the world.  In her free time, she works with Jolt Radio, a Miami online radio station she helped create 9 years ago. She hopes to bring her vast knowledge in different fields into the marketing field as a creative director for all kinds of media platforms.

Eboni Thompson is an FIU student who was born and raised in Homestead, Florida. She is currently a senior, who is studying digital media and communications, and has a minor in social media and e-marketing. Eboni is working in Coral Gables at gFour Marketing Group as a marketing intern. She plans on using her degree and experience to become a Digital Marketer for a big marketing agency in the future. She is interested in any and everything that has to do with the internet and social media. On her down time, she enjoys watching videos on both Netflix and YouTube, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family.

Sofia Vidal is a student at Florida International University who is graduating in December 2019 in Digital Communications and Media. She was born and raised in Miami, FL but wants to relocate once she graduates. Her hobbies include watching Netflix, hanging out with friends and going out to eat. Once she graduates, she wants to work in digital media or become a video editor. Her dream is to find a job in Los Angeles. She is reliable and hardworking when it comes to getting things done.

Ashley Zemotel is a Senior at Florida International University. She majors in Broadcast Media and Communications. This December she is going to graduate with a Bachelor’s in communications and Science. Ashley was born and raised in Upstate New York and moved to Miami in 2017. She is very passionate about everything sports related. Ashley’s dream is to one day be able to experience the entire world firsthand. Music is one of the biggest aspects of Ashley’s life.
